Tai Chi and the Meditative Experience
Tai Chi is one of the most mysterious forms of harmonious exercise of mind body and spirit known, yet it has been practiced all over the world for hundreds of years. Today, the slow graceful movements are in stark contrast to the rigorous gym workouts and a host of other strenous exercises of modern times. Visualizing the differences on a deeper level, authors Joseph Acquah and Shane Guffogg use poetry and art to express the experience of Tai Chi by looking inward to explore the root of meditative movement. This unique combination of art, poetry calligraphy offers a key to open a new door to understanding the ancient practice of Tai Chi.
